Human Resources Supervisor – Agros International

Location: Honduras (Preferably Palmerola or Tegucigalpa, work based mostly in Zambrano)
Travel: Regular travel to rural areas in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and occasionally, the U.S.
Fluency in English & Spanish required

The Role
The Human Resources Supervisor will execute HR processes across Agros International, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and compliance with labor laws in Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Seattle. The role also supports policy development, HR system optimization, and culture initiatives. The selected candidate will work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with Agros International’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage recruitment and selection processes to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
- Develop onboarding processes that enhance engagement and retention.
- Implement training initiatives to support employee growth and capacity building.
- Oversee performance evaluations, ensuring a structured feedback system.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws in Honduras, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
- Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Agros International’s values.
- Support employee well-being initiatives.
- Ensure HR documentation, policies, and procedures are up to date.

Who We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. HR certifications or a Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: At least five years in HR operations, including recruitment, training, labor compliance, and employee relations. Multi-country HR experience is an advantage.

Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Experience using HR management systems (ATS, HRIS) and Microsoft Excel.

Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication. Regular interaction with the Seattle-based team requires professional proficiency.

Mobility: Regular travel to rural areas in Honduras and occasional travel to Guatemala, Nicaragua, and the U.S. Candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed.
